Product Description
minibend® KS is the 40 GHz version of the original minibend® with a 2.9mm plug connector on one end and an SMP female connector on the other. minibend® KS replaces custom length, predefined bend configuration .086 semi-rigid cables with standard, COTS, flexible coax cables for use as internal, point-to-point interconnections between RF modules.

Phase Versus Flexure Reference Data
Astrolab performed phase tests on hundreds of minibend cable assemblies. Following are two standard Astrolab tests with the corresponding data. In test one minibend® KS-6 assembly's were flexed 90° in a 0.25 inch radius directly behind the connector. In test two, minibend® KS-16 assemblies were flexed 180° with a 0.4 inch radius in the middle. Typical data is recorded here:
