True Flexible Coaxial Cable Assemblies

The Astrolab minibend^® family, which has proven itself to be a cost effective alternative for .086 dia. semi-rigid cable, continues to evolve. The Astrolab microbend™ assemblies provide you with a standard preassembled and tested high performance, cost effective true flexible alternative to .047" custom semi-rigid cable assemblies eliminating the need for predefined custom lengths and bend configurations. microbend™ features include lower loss than .047" semi-rigid cable, a minimum bend radius 0.060 inches, triple shielding for high isolation, an FEP Jacket for added protection, a frequency range up to 65 GHz and a guaranteed 10 lbs. pull force. microbend ™ assemblies are currently available with 1.85mm Plug, SMPM Female, SMP Male & Female, 2.9mm Plug, SSMA Plug and SMA Plug connectors. The SMPM and SMP connectors mate to standard Corning GPPO and GPO connectors. The 1.85mm Plug connectors mate with industry standard 1.85mm and 2.4 mm connectors. All microbend™ assemblies are also available in a ruggedized version (microbend R) for use in severe stress environments.
